Ministries

At Gladstone Baptist Church, we cherish our ministries as vital avenues for growing in faith, serving others, and fostering a strong sense of community. Through these ministries, we aim to become more like Jesus, supporting one another on our spiritual journeys and ministering to those around us. Here are some of the regular ministries that operate within our church.

KYB

KYB is a Bible study course that is designed so that members engage with the Bible passage four times each week. KYB uses a question and answer learning method, reinforced by group discussion, summaries and review notes.

There are several KYB study groups that meed regularly at GBC. If you would like to learn more about KYB and figure out if its for you, please contact the church office for more information.

Craft

Wednesday morning sees a wonderful group of ladies gather at the church function room for a great time of connection, centered around craft. It’s a great place to make new friends, work on your own craft projects or learn a new skill. A gold coin donation will help our team provide you with morning tea where we would love to get to know you more over a cuppa. With the site accessible to wheelchairs, we invite ladies of all ages and abilities to join us and we look forward to seeing you every Wednesday from 9:00 till 11:30 during the school term. If you would like more information, please contact the Church Office via email on gbcadmin@gladbap.org.au.

Share a Table

Looking to connect with others and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal? Our Monday night dinners are the perfect place to meet people, be encouraged, and enjoy a hearty feast. You’re invited to join us from 5:30, fortnightly, in the church function room as we share not only a meal together but also our lives. A great opportunity to build community, share stories, laugh together and make new friends. Come hungry, leave happy.

Camps

Dad's & Daughters Camp

We value the important role that Dad’s of all types play not only in the family but also our community. We want to encourage all Dads to connect in a positive way with those that God has given into their care. Our annual Dad’s and Daughter’s camp is just one opportunity to get away and invest into this critical relationship while being encouraged by other like minded Dads.

Men's Camp

Join us for the annual Cania Men's Camp, a faith-filled weekend of adventure and fellowship! Enjoy thrilling water sports, scenic camping, and inspiring guest speakers who will deepen your walk with Christ. This is the perfect opportunity to build lasting relationships and create unforgettable memories. Don't miss out on this experience!

Women's Events

Varied events for women are held regularly throughout the year including seminars, conferences, morning, and afternoon tea gatherings, and much more. These events help to connect women and develop friendships across the generations while providing valuable insight for a deepening relationship with God. A focus on testifying to God’s goodness through the sharing of life’s ups and downs help to build genuine connection.

Know Your Bible (KYB) groups help to develop Biblical knowledge and understanding with the aim to see women grow in Christian maturity. They are designed to help understand God’s Word and apply its message for today through personal study and times of group sharing. There are several KYB groups at GBC.

Contact the Church office for more information.

Men's Events

We believe that God has designed us to live in community. In our desire to see men of all ages growing in God’s grace, we invite you to participate in a range of opportunities from our monthly morning tea at a local park, regular men’s brekkie feast, to the annual men’s camp at Cania Dam. Let’s grow together in faith as we center ourselves on Jesus and build deep relationships.
