Squeals on Wheels Playgroup

A playgroup that encourages and supports parents and caregivers of all descriptions in their role of rearing young children and provides opportunities to connect with other families.  An exciting theme-based program each term will provide opportunities to play, create, read, sing, and dance together.

We have a fully fenced yard and a fantastic playground as well as plenty of toys and games to educate and entertain. The adjacent Parent’s Room will assist with those catering to the needs of younger children. Age-appropriate toilet facilities and change table are also available.

We encourage you to bring your own morning tea and a change of clothes for your children as we sometimes like to get messy. Tea and coffee are supplied for parents.

Cost:  $25 per term for each family, children under 1 are free.

Youth Group

Youth group is a fun and interactive program with a focus on bringing high school ages kids into a knowledge of Jesus and a relationship with Him. The leaders have a heart for discipling young people to reach there potential in God.

We currently have a connect group running specifically for youth (Year 7-12).

Boys' Brigade

Our Company is part of ‘The Boys’ Brigade’, the oldest uniformed youth organisation in the world. The Boys brigade began in Scotland in 1883, while our Gladstone company began in 2000.

Our program aims to develop boys and young men in all areas of their lives including physically, educationally, socially and spiritually. Camps and outings are an important part of Boys’ Brigade and happen on a regular basis.

We do not require boys or their families to have a Christian faith to be involved in Boy’s Brigade but due to our belief that all areas of life are interrelated and because our leaders are Christians there will be an underlying spiritual basis to our approach.

When: Thursday nights during the school term

Anchor Boys (5-7 year olds): 5:15 – 6:30 pm

No.1 Section (8-11 year olds): 6:30 – 8:15 pm

No.2 Section (12-18 year olds): 6:30 – 8:15 pm

Fees: Year $150  |  Term $40

We are proud of our uniform at Boy’s Brigade and encourage all boys to own one. Uniforms can be ordered at the beginning of each term. We would love to partner with you in seeing boys across the Gladstone region grow and develop into all that God has called them to be.
