Worship is a lifestyle of relating to God. It is our human response to God’s revelation of Himself. We believe that man’s highest call is to worship God; we are committed to worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). We also believe that we must worship from at least two sides – adoration (giving praise and glory) and service. We want our worship to be inclusive, contemporary, relevant and vibrant and avoiding extremes. We acknowledge the validity and the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in Corinthians 12:4-30 and Romans 12:6-8 . However, we do not encourage the public use of the gifts of tongues in our worship services.
